Gordon is a express engine who always feels proud for take the big express. he's one of the strongest engines on Sodor and he expect to do important jobs, sometimes he didn't like to shunt freight cars and he was locked in the shed with Henry and James after going on strike and he learned his lesson. Gordon shows a kinder side and gives the younger engines advice. but, some of his advice isn't exacly honest though, as James have discovered.
